Ordering Your Pet’s Medication
If your pet takes regular medication, you can request a repeat prescription from Folly Veterinary Centre.
All prescription requests are reviewed by a veterinary surgeon.
Depending on your pet’s condition, medication and when they were last examined, we may need to arrange a medication review before further treatment can be prescribed.
Written Prescriptions
You have a choice about where you buy your pet’s medication.
You can purchase prescribed medicines directly from Folly Veterinary Centre or ask us for a written prescription to purchase them from another authorised supplier, including an authorised online pharmacy.
Medicines may sometimes be available more cheaply elsewhere, so you are welcome to compare prices.
A fee applies for issuing a written prescription. You can find our current charge on our Fees & Pricing page.
Medication Reviews
Pets receiving ongoing medication need regular veterinary reviews to make sure their treatment remains safe and appropriate.
How frequently your pet needs to be seen will depend on their condition and the medication being prescribed. We'll let you know if an appointment is required before we can issue your pet’s next prescription.
